HOW OUR ANALYSIS WORKS

PennyStocks Methodology

A transparent look at how we evaluate stocks, calculate fundamental scores and generate valuation-based targets.

01

What We Analyze

PennyStocks evaluates stocks using a combination of fundamental financial indicators, company information, ownership data and valuation measures.

The purpose is to provide a structured way to compare companies rather than relying on a single financial metric.

02

Fundamental Score

The Fundamental Score combines several areas of company performance into a single score.

Growth

Looks at available indicators related to the company's growth performance.

Profitability

Evaluates available measures related to earnings and profitability.

Financial Health

Considers the company's financial condition and available balance sheet indicators.

Cash Flow

Considers available cash-flow information to assess the quality of the company's finances.

Valuation

Uses available valuation information to assess whether the stock appears relatively expensive or inexpensive.

Ownership

Considers available shareholding and ownership information.

Stability

Considers available indicators related to consistency and stability.

03

Confidence

The confidence percentage indicates how much of the underlying analysis is supported by available data.

Higher confidence More of the required financial information is available.
Lower confidence Some important information may be unavailable, incomplete or stale.
04

Analysis Signals

The signal provides a simplified summary of the overall analysis.

BUY

Stronger overall analysis based on the scoring framework.

HOLD

The analysis does not currently indicate a strong buy signal.

WATCH

The stock may warrant further observation based on the available analysis.

AVOID

The current analysis shows weaker fundamental characteristics.

05

Target Price

The target price is generated from the valuation analysis available for each stock.

Where multiple valuation approaches are available, the analysis uses the median of the available valuation targets rather than simply selecting the highest estimate.

Target Price Median of Available Valuation Targets
06

Potential Upside

Potential upside compares the calculated target price with the current stock price.

Potential Upside (Target Price − Current Price) ÷ Current Price × 100

A positive percentage indicates that the calculated target is above the current price. A negative percentage indicates that the target is below the current price.

07

Target Agreement

Target agreement indicates how closely the available valuation methods agree with one another.

Strong Valuation estimates are relatively close together.
Moderate There is some difference between the available valuation estimates.
Weak Valuation estimates differ significantly.
Low Limited valuation information is available.
08

How to Read the Results

The numbers should be considered together rather than viewed individually.

Fundamental Score Overall fundamental strength.
Confidence Availability and reliability of the underlying data.
Signal Simplified summary of the analysis.
Target Price Valuation-based estimate.
Potential Upside Difference between current price and calculated target.

Important Limitations

PennyStocks analysis is based on available financial and market data. Data can sometimes be incomplete, delayed, unavailable or stale.

A calculated target price is an analytical estimate, not a guarantee of future market performance. Stock prices can move significantly because of market conditions, company news, liquidity, corporate actions and other factors.
